Rick Clarke – Partner CS Design Build

With more than 14 years of experience in multifamily, residential, and commercial design build, Rick Clarke consistently demonstrates his passion for understanding each client's vision and bringing it to life through extraordinary interior design build concepts and execution.

In each client engagement, Rick draws on his lifelong design and management experience, in which he has done everything from creating a nationally awarded food line to expanding companies’ national presence. Focused on interior design build since 2005, Rick applies his creativity and extensive management skills to elevate interior design build for multifamily, residential, and commercial applications throughout Texas and the United States.

Area of expertise:

    • Interaction with key clients during opportunity development

    • Responsible for project management and technical direction during project implementation

    • Proposal developmentLeadership of proposal teams and project execution teams

    • Creates action plans to meet objectives, budget and schedule. Implements change management routines to assess change requests, make recommendations, secure client approvals, and issue change orders

    • Identifies project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists or through individual project qualification process; conducts standard to complex request for proposals; completes bid analysis; leads evaluation interviews, recommends resources to clients

    • Coordinate and oversee field activities by contractors during construction phase to ensure minimal impact to campus and alignment with project goals and objectives

    • Implements change management routines to assess change requests, make recommendations, secure client approvals, and issue change orders. Assesses change requests to determine impacts to scope, budget, schedule, quality and risk

    • Ensure project data integrity and documentation is accurate, timely and coordinated. Tracks progress of each project against goals, objectives, approved budgets, approved timelines. Reports status and variances. Creates action plans to meet objectives, budget and schedule

    • Manages all facets of project management (budget, schedule, procurement, quality & risk) for individual real estate projects including planning, design, construction, occupancy and closeout

    • Assist various crafts, disciplines and subcontractors in executing their respective work

    • Coordinate with clients on a regular basis

    • Participate in public meetings and presentations

    SKILLS

    • 14+ years project management experience in all aspects of Design, Construction, Project Management, Move Management with mid to large commercial construction projects

    • Planning and organizing – establish course of action to accomplish goals, evaluates results, develops schedules, and can orchestrate multiple activities at once by effectively utilizing available resources

    •  Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information

    • Dealing with Ambiguity – Can effectively cope with change, can shift gears comfortably, can decide and act without having the total picture, can comfortably handle risk and uncertainty

    • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with executive level external and internal clients as well as external team members (architects, contractors, client’s representatives, etc.)

Mike stewart- Partner CS Design Build

Michael Stewart, a proud graduate of the University of Houston, where he earned a Business Degree in Computer Information Systems. His journey in the world of construction and real estate has spanned over two decades. In 2001, he embarked on a career with Parkcrest Builders, specializing in multifamily construction, specifically HUD 221 (D)(4’s). In 2015, he and his brother established Stewart Residential, LLC, further expanding his influence in the industry.


Throughout his career, he has overseen the development and construction of a diverse portfolio of projects, including multi-family dwellings, single-family homes, and commercial properties, spread across the vibrant states of Texas, Kansas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Mississippi, and Louisiana. With over 20 years of experience running his construction business, he has honed his expertise as a construction and development consultant. He specializes in providing innovative solutions to real estate developers

  • and contractors, addressing their construction needs with a keen eye for detail and efficiency. His career has also seen him take on the vital roles of disaster relief and hurricane recovery efforts, emphasizing his commitment to making a positive impact on the communities he serves. He has been involved with the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo for 17 years as a volunteer and serves on 3 committees.


    He is deeply involved in all phases of project development. This includes collaborating with owners during the design phase, meticulously formulating budgets, skillfully negotiating contracts with both owners and subcontractors, and effectively managing projects throughout the construction process. His dedication to excellence and client satisfaction has been the cornerstone of his professional journey. With a wealth of experience and a passion for construction, he is driven to continue making significant contributions to the world of real estate development and construction.
